The lessons in each skill are divided into 2 large parts: skill learning and practice. All units of each skill have a language focus to improve vocabulary, grammar and natural and fluent word usage. 

As a book for advanced learners, the topics are academic and advanced, help increase thinking and stick to the topics in the real test. 

Strengths

- With the new version, the book comes with Digital Pack, Cambridge’s online copyright package for learners to easily do exercises and check their progress. The units in the book are divided by type, easy to absorb. 

Weaknesses

- Like the Complete IELTS series, the Mindset for IELTS book is not “instant noodles” but requires time to “absorb”, learn knowledge, not suitable for intensive test preparation
