Strengths

- Detailed, realistic, although there are many “tips” but the knowledge learners receive can be applied to foreign language use from basic to proficient levels.

- There are many illustrations and realistic topics for students. The activities and exercises all focus on the mistakes that test takers often make based on Cambridge’s database of the IELTS test, so they have official and practical value. 

Weaknesses

- There are many group activities mainly for the class, going deep into language development and increasing understanding of the test, not “instant noodles” so it will not be suitable for intensive courses.
